What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday
DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Good Wife (RTÉ One, 11.25pm)
It’s time to bid farewell to Alicia Florrick as The Good Wife ends for good. No more will they-won’t they storylines, lawyer beefs or dramatic court cases. Truly the end of an era. *sheds tear*
The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)
If you missed this series when it aired on BBC Two earlier this year, do yourself a favour and watch it tonight. There’s a reason why people are calling it the best television show of 2016.
Inside Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital (Channel 4, 10pm)
A touching behind-the-scenes look at what goes on behind the scenes at a children’s hospital. This episode focuses on how fathers cope with their childrens’ illnesses. You may need tissues.
Everyone’s talking about… Netflix
Giphy Giphy
Yesterday, it was revealed that Fuller House, the reboot of the 1990s comedy, was the most-watched show on Netflix last year.
According to date collated by Symphony Advance Media, 14.4 million viewers in the US watched the reboot making it the most streamed original show on the streaming service.
Also massively popular? Making A Murderer, which apparently attracted 13.4 million viewers. (We all just love Dean Strang so much.)
Marvel’s Jessica Jones (6.3 million viewers), House of Cards (4.9 million viewers), F is for Family (4.8 million viewers) and Master of None (4.5 million viewers) also proved massively popular. So now. (Indiewire)
